Color Doppler imaging findings were reviewed for 62 lymph nodes in five patients with malignant lymphoma (Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma in two patients each; and immunoblastic lymphadenoathy in one patient), and in 6 patients with the other disease (tuberculous lymphadenitis, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer in one patient each, and infectious mononucleosis in 2 patients). Color signals were detected in 33 lymph nodes(53.2%). This color signals were classified into three types of flow direction; flow towards the inside of the lymph node, flow away from the inside, and flow with both directions. Color signals with both directions were detected in 14 lymph nodes (42.4%), and signals towards the inside in 16(48.5%). Color images were not detected at all in 6 patients with disease except for malignant lymphoma. Detection rate of color signals correlated to the diameter of the long axis of the lymph node(p
