Wen He, MD, is a Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Tutor, whose position is presently the Director of Ultrasound Department of Capital Medical College and Beijing Tian-tan Hospital, China. Dr. He serves as Chairman of Ultrasound Committee, Chinese Ultrasound Doctor Association （CUDA）, and concurrently Vice-director commissioner of Ultrasound Committee of Beijing Medical Association, Vice-president of Chinese Medical Imaging Technology Research Committee and Director commissioner of Interventional Ultrasound committee of its branch, and Subeditor of Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology. Dr. He has been assuming a dozen of national or ministerial science and technology projects and has published more than 100 scientific articles in Chinese and international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. He obtained the honor of ministerial or provincial science and technology progress award for 7 times and published 10 academic books. Dr. He specializes in the microwave ablation treatment for hepatic and lung tumors, contrast-enhanced ultrasound in the diagnosis and assessment of breast, thyroid and vascular diseases and transcranial ultrasound angiography, and interventional treatment in the field of craniocerebral diseases. Dr. He’ research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of vascular and interventional ultrasound. He has acquired remarkable achievements on the issue of the influence of intraplaque neovascularization on the stability of carotid plaques.
