Breast cancer in young age is alarmingly increasing in Nepal. It is the commonest cause of cancer death in females in Nepal.
Screening breast ultrasound is relatively inexpensive examination and it can detect mammographically occult cancer in women with dense breast tissue. However it has its own limitations.
