Won Jae Lee, MD, PhD, is currently the Professor and Chairman at the Department of Radiology of Samsung Medical Center, Sunkyunkwan University School of Medicine, Seoul, Korea.
Professor Lee received his medical degree from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1983. Following this, he completed his residency at Seoul National University Hospital in 1990. He received his PhD from Seoul National University Graduate School of Medicine in 1994.Professor Lee currently serves as the Chairman of Board of Director of the Korean Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the Secretary General of the Korean Society of Radiology. He also served as the Immediate Past President of the Korean Society of Abdominal Radiology.
Professor Lee’s research focuses on the abdominal radiology, especially on the liver imaging.
