A nidation site was visualized sonographically at 31 days' gestation, determined from basal body temperature shift. Its anatomical relation to the uterine cavity and endometrial tissue indicates that a nidation took place in the posterior endometrial tissue. It was a small cystic part of 4 mm in diameter with an echogenic outline. Follow-up studies revealed the steady increase in the size of the nidation site.
