　The operative treatment of anorectal malformation requires adequate preoperative classification and evaluation of accompanied anomalies including rectourethral fistula.
　We admitted a 1 year old boy with this anomaly, for which ultrasonography was performed. Ultrasonogram revealed the anatomical relationship of the rectourethral fistula to the prostate, urinary bladder, and rectum. Accurate recognition, especially as to the prostate and rectourethral fistula, enabled later operation to be performed more safely and smoothly.
