A digital data processing method of Doppler signals is described. A digital device has gained much acceptance because of its flexibility and high performance. The procedure consists of four phases: 1) Digitization
and quantization of Doppler signals; 2) Stationary noise canceller; 3) Spectral analysis of a Doppler frequency; and 4) Display of a processed result. This paper reports the techniques for measuring and imaging the
intracardiac blood flow velocity profile using a multi-channel data acquisition system, a minicomputer and a
color display device.
