A study on ultrasonotomography (USTG) was done in 17 cases of renal tumors. CT was also performed on 14 of them and was compared with USTG. USTG revealed the existence and size of tumor as accurate as CT. Sagittal section in USTG was helpful on reading CT. However, USTG had some difficulty to visualize findings around the vertebra or deeper areas.
