For the porpose of researching the paper easily, up to five keywords were used in the paper in Journal. For this aim keywords should be selected under the rules.
1. In up to five keywords, two or three words are selected in the Index Medicus. keywords about each clinical area are slected in those in Index Medicus.

2.

Words about ultrasound are selcted in the next table. All papaer in this Journal is written about ultrasonics, then, at least, one of the Key word should be selected in "Acoustics, Echocardiography, Ultrasonography, Ultrasonics, Ultrasound"

3.

There is no problem to use important keywords, which is not selcted in Index Medicus.

4.

Use the Capital at the head of the key word.

5.

Adopt the imprtant words as keywords which use in the title.

6.

keywords in the paper may be changed as the better one in the commitee.

Explanation of directions of term

1.

This keywords is selected for the indexing.

2.

The words were written in accordance with those of Index Medicus.
ie: Ultrasonography, Doppler, transesophageal Ultrasonography, Doppler ultrasonography, Transesophageal ultrasonography, Transesophageal ultrasonography, which are good but Doppler transesophageal ultrasonography is not.

3.

Which word will use in the synonym as indicated in parentheses.

4.

Words as indicated in asterisk "*", are adopted in Index Medicus in 1996.
